The event organizer has confirmed the change of plans for the biggest European gaming event. Clarion Gaming Managing Director Kate Chambers stated that after discussing the matter with the market, it was decided to re-schedule the event. She mentioned “doubt and nervousness” that surrounded initial early February dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chambers is positive that “the world is likely to be in a much better place in April 2021”, even though there still will be a lot of obstacles to overcome. She, however, places confidence in the Clarion Gaming team and the ICE London and iGB Affiliate communities. According to her statement, their joint effort will help the event happen in full capacity, that “all sectors of the international industry want and need.”
As of now, ICE London is scheduled for April 20-22, 2021, and will be hosted by the ExCeL London Exhibition Centre. There’s still a lot of information concerning the new health and safety guidelines yet to be announced.
The MaxBill team will definitely follow the news on the matter closely. We value the health and safety of our partners and employees above anything else and are ready to make all the needed adjustments in order to meet the new guidelines. It is our duty to stay at the forefront of innovation in the industry and help gaming providers undergo digital transformation while ensuring the maximum possible safety for our colleagues.
